We are starting a new initiative called Sidequests by ibbe, a series of bi-monthly gatherings designed for anyone who loves to learn new things just for the sake of curiosity. The idea is to create a relaxed yet structured space where people can step out of their daily routines and look into interesting subjects together. Twice a month, we will host these meetups to foster great discussions, connect motivated individuals, and learn about things we might not usually encounter in our school or work lives.
The format is straightforward and open to everyone. For each session, a group of fifteen to thirty people will gather to explore a specific topic. We plan to cover a wide range of disciplines, from biology and physics to history, poetry, law, and the arts. To keep things interesting, we will use two different approaches for learning. In some sessions, we will invite guest speakers and industry experts to share their knowledge. In others, we will rely on peer-led exploration, where everyone does a bit of research and we teach each other. Every meetup wraps up with a roundtable conference, ensuring that everyone has a seat at the table to share their thoughts and debate the topic.
